Margaret R. Smith

Margaret R. Smith, 83, Phil Campbell, passed away April 9 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

She lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Phil Campbell. She was retired from Kellwood Manufacturing Company.

There was a graveside service April 11 at 10 a.m. at Phil Campbell Cemetery with Roger Martin and Jerry Humphries officiating. Burial followed immediately after the service. Visitation was Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.

Survivors include children, Robert and wife Peggy Smith, Michael and wife JoAnn Smith, Mark  and wife Janet Smith; grandchildren, Rebecca and husband Jeremy Stewart, Samuel and Ethan Smith; great-grand-children, Devan, Alexis and Lily; sister, Martha Bostick; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Robert I. Smith; parents, Felix and Littie Borden Daniel; brothers, James and Larry Daniel; and sister, Betty Parker.
