Kenneth L. “Kenny” Morris

Kenneth L. “Kenny” Morris, 63, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at his residence. He was born Kenosha, Wis. to Columbus Morris and Kathleen Reed Morris. He had been an employee of Mississippi Tool Supply, Belmont, Miss.

Services were Sunday, Nov. 15, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Bro. Tony Darracott officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are his wife of 39 years, Virginia Morris, Golden, Miss.; three children: April Crane and husband, Adam, Tommy Morris and Matthew Morris, all of Golden, Miss.; three grandchildren: Jordan Bray, Taylor Bray and Kaleb Bray; his father,Columbus Morris, Vernon; three brothers: Steve Morris and wife, Estelle and Eddie Jo Morris and wife, Tonya all of Smithville, Miss. and Reggie Morris and wife, Linda Becker, Miss.; three sisters: Rita Phillips and husband, David and Joyce Finch, all of Smithville, Miss. and Rose Strawhorn and husband, Harold Amory, Miss.; his mother-in-law, Mildred Petty and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Noonan Petty; two daughters: Kathryn Morris and Becky Morris, two brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers will be Billy Petty, Adam Crane, Chad Morris, Ed Swindle and Christopher Strawhorn. Honorary pallbearer will be Adam Goforth.

Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 15, 10a.m.-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
