Lila Ruth Holland

Lila Ruth Holland, 81, died Friday, Sept 11, 2015 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.  She was born in Miss. to Novis and Nonar Orear.  She was a homemaker and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Services were Sunday, Sept 13, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Matthew Haney and Bro. W.D. Humphres officiating.  Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Blackburn and husband Marshall of Vina; five grandchildren, Anthony Blackburn, Amy Burks, Jamie Blackburn, Brandie Davis and Samantha Holland; nine great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Lealon Orear, Addis Orear, Linda Blanton, Dexter Orear and Glinda Sue Elrod; and a daughter-in-law-Sarah Holland Nichols.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Holland; her son, Ricky Holland; her parents; brothers and sisters: Lionel Orear, Eva Lois Orear, Leburn Orear, LaRue Stanford and Lial Orear.

Pallbearers were Anthony Blackburn, Jamie Blackburn, Justin Blackburn, Jacob Davis and Hunter Burks.

Visitation was Saturday, Sept 12, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
