Doris Imojean “Jean” Winstead

Doris Imojean “Jean” Winstead, age 72, Phil Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Winstead was always helping others and never thought of herself.   She was a 2nd mom to many, showering them with love, food, or a place to stay.

The visitation was Sept 03, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral was Sept 4, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jeff Whitten officiating. Burial was at Blue Springs Cemetery.

She is survived by her four sons, Curtis Winstead and wife, Rose, Kenneth Winstead and wife, Imie, Robin Winstead, Eric Winstead and wiife, Karri; grandchildren, Whitney Winstead, Alec Winstead, Kensley Winstead, Savanah Winstead, Kyleigh Winstead, Mystri Winstead, Maximus Winstead, Ariel Winstead, Aurora Winstead, Skylor Bouwmans, Kirstie Williams; Sofia Winstead, Athea Winstead; great-grandchildren, Khaliah Hall and Presley Jude Griffin; sisters, Wanda Whitten, Ila Brown; and a host of nieces & and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Delano Roosevelt Winstead; daughter, Kimberly Winstead; parents, George & Lonnie Mae Motes; siblings, Essie Plunkett, Frelon Motes, Hollis Motes, Kelsie Motes, and Ruby Gillis.

The pallbearers were Hershel O’Kelley, Samuel Winsted, Roy Motes, Tony Saint, Dennis Welch, Michael Sutherland, and Joey Motes.
