William “Bill” J. Jones
William “Bill” J. Jones, age 80, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Brentwood Retirement Community Center.
Mr. Jones proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a retired general supervisor from Reynolds Aluminum.
The visitation was 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel, with full military honors. Officiating was Bro. Charles James. Burial was at Franklin Memory Gardens.
He is survived by wife of 60 years, the love of his life, Demaris Pace Jones; children, Rita Hardyman (husband, Donald), Paula Lindsey (husband, Randy), Lynn Jones (wife, Beth); grandchildren, Bethany Hearinck, Johnathan Mangino, Seth Stuart, Kendra Logan, Will Lindsey, Adam Lindsey, Hannah Hulse, Olivia Mayes, Sam Jones; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Jones (wife, Louise), sister, Betty Williams (husband, Wendall); and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Beatrice (Staples) Jones; and granddaughter, Bridgette Jones.
The pallbearers will be Will Lindsey, Seth Stuart, Johnathan Mangino, Rocky Mayes, Adam Lindsey, and Sam Jones.
