Charles Rabon “Frog” Stockton

Charles Rabon “Frog” Stockton, 78, Red Bay, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 of injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born in Itawamba County, Miss. and previously was owner of Russellville Gas Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Red Bay.

A private family service was held at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay. Bro. Bill Harper officiated.  Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Stockton, Red Bay; two children,  Mike Stockton and wife, Lisa, Red Bay and Jenna Stephens and husband, Greg, Golden, Miss.; two grandchildren, Philden Stockton and wife, Leigh Anne and Greta Stockton; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Stockton and Cruze Weatherford; three step-grandchildren, Rachel, Kelly and Morgan Stephens; one brother, James Stockton and two sisters, Lydia Clark and Pauline Sutton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Curtis Stockton and Estee Pearson Stockton and two brothers, Marshall Stockton and Titus Stockton.

His nephews served as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 616, Red Bay, AL 35582.
