Charles Edward Tidwell, age 67, Russellville, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Helen Keller Hospital.

The visitation was Monday, June 1, 2015 at Russellville Church of God.  The funeral followed with Bro. Nick McSpadden officiating. Burial followed at Hyde Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Lesha Tidwell, Amy Stults and husband, Corey; grandchildren, Jerod Cartwright, Kaela Cartwright, Kyle Stults; siblings, Ray Tidwell, Patricia Wilbanks, Lurie Cole, Eddie Olene Standridge; host of nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends.

He was preceded in death by wife, Patricia Tidwell; parents, Edgar and Dessie Tidwell; sisters, Bobby Nix, Evelyn Watson, Dabia Elizabeth Tidwell; brothers, BJ “BT” Tidwell, and Lucian “Bud” Tidwell

The pallbearers were Jerod Cartwright, Darren Cole, Justin Wilbanks, Johnny Garrie, Marvin Nix, and Bill Evans.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Muscle Shoals Cancer Center, Dr. Stanley Clark and staff, nurses and staff of Helen Keller Hospital; and to Keller Hospice for the love and care shown to our dad.
