Billy James, 61, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his residence. He was born in South Bend, Ind., and was a truck driver. He was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church and served in the National Guard.

Services were Saturday, May 23, at Golden Central Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Ginn and Mike Deaton officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay.

Survivors are his wife of 42 years, Sherry James, Red Bay; two sons, Bradley James and wife, Undrea, Russellville, and Gary James and wife, Jennifer, Red Bay; three grandchildren, Devin James, Dakota Davis and Ali Davis; his mother, Faye James, Golden, Miss.; two sisters, Barbara Wiginton, Muscle Shoals, and Marti Page, Red Bay, and one brother, Keith James, Golden, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill James and his grandparents.

Pallbearers were Jim Young, Tommy Neil, Charles Ashley, Rudy Collier, Steve Bostick and Thomas Armstrong.

Visitation was Friday, May 22, 2015, at Golden Central Baptist Church.
