Arlis Holcome, Jr., age 74, Tuscumbia, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Florence Nursing Home and Rehab Center, Florence.

Mr. Holcome proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corp.

The visitation was Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the memorial service following in the chapel.  Officiating was Bro. Dwight Love.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Betty Lindsey Clark Holcome; his daughters, Gladys and Nancy; step-son, Joe Pearson; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Johnson, Ruth Wallace, Margie Oliver; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva Gladys and husband, Kent Holcome and Arlis Holcome.
