Martha Bostick Mason, 91, of Red Bay, Ala., passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at her daughter’s residence in Ellicott City, Maryland. She was born in Red Bay to Vester and Virgie Tiffin Bostick and was a librarian for 24 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Red Bay.
Services were held Monday, March 30, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay with Bro. Mitch Netherly officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheron Farrell and husband, Patrick, of Ellicott City, Maryland and Sarah Rast and husband, Dale, of Olive Branch, Miss.; five grandchildren, Kimberly Farrell, John Farrell, Michael Cullen, Delayne Williams and David Rast; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-Frances Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larkin Mason; her parents; one grandson, Mason Cullen; one sister, Eddie Cooper and one brother, Wesley Bostick.
Pallbearers were Gerald Jackson, Edwin Cooper, Phillip Cooper, Joe Credille, Michael Cullen and John Farrell.
Visitation was Monday, March 30, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Ala.
