Jewell Bernice Sides, 83, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at her residence.  She was born in Mississippi and was a seamstress.  She was a member of the Red Bay Church of God.

Services will be Monday, March 16 2015, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Bro. Marshall Green and Bro. Terry Parrish officiating.  Burial was in Bounds Crossroads Cemetery, Tremont, Miss.

Survivors include three children, Douglas Homer Sides, Jr. and wife, Renee, Rebecca Frances Whitehead and wife, Lonnie, and David Bruce Sides and wife, Christi, all of Red Bay; five grandchildren, Sherry Marie Wilkins, Andy Joseph Deaton and wife, Liz, Donnie Bruce Sides, Brent Lee Sides and wife, Jessica, and Ginger Kasey Cole and husband, Ben; seven great-grandchildren, Dallas Scott Terrell, Sierra Kasey Terrell, Anna Elizabeth Sides, Connor Sides, Preston Sides, Maygan Sides and A.J. Deaton; two brothers, Shelton Grimes of Russellville and Boyd Grimes of Fairview.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Sides and her parents, Robert Jordon and Rhoda Maudine Grimes.

Pallbearers were Andy Deaton, Donnie Sides, A.J. Deaton, Ben Cole, Jody Parker and Steve Grimes.

Visitation was Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
