Brice Bonds Hester Jr., 88, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at his daughter’s residence in Vina. He was born in Franklin County, and was a farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was a member of OldBurlesonMissionaryBaptistChurch.
Services were Saturday, Feb. 28, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, RedBay, with Bro. Steve Ledbetter officiating. Burial was in OldBurlesonCemetery, Vina.
Survivors are two daughters, Judy Wooten and husband, Danny, and Janice Frederick, all of Vina; five grandchildren, Brandi Miller, Brent Wooten, Brooke Robbins, Chasity George and Tucker Frederick; six great-grandchildren, Andy George, Katlynn George, Britton Wooten, Jackson Miller, Cash Miller and Rylie Robbins and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brice Bonds Hester Sr. and Minnie Nelson Hester, a daughter, Pam Hardin, a granddaughter, Michelle Hardin and five sisters and one brother.
Pallbearers were Brent Wooten, Tucker Frederick, John Miller, Luke Robbins, Jared George and Andy George. Honorary pallbearers were Jackson Miller and Britton Wooten.
Visitation was Saturday, Feb. 28, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay.
