Paul James “Jamie” Dewey, 74, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Massene, N.Y. and worked as a locksmith.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy for ten years and served in the Army Reserve for twelve years.

There will be a graveside service Saturday, February 28, at 2 p.m. at Old Union Cemetery, Belmont, Miss.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy Dewey, Cherokee; three children, Valerie Irish, Norwood, N.Y., Bruce Dewey, Potsdam, N.Y. and Michael Dewey of Virginia; three step-children, Sheri, Shane and Scotty Funderburk; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Mildred Harvey Dewey and a brother, David Dewey.
