James E. Herston, age 42, Russellville, Alabama passed away on, Jan. 19, 2015.

There will be a memorial service on January 22, 2015 at Akins Funeral Home.

Mr. Herston is preceded in death by his daughter Savannah Brooke Herston, grandfathers, Harold Pierce and Henry Herston, his aunt Linda Peirce Woodruff and uncle,Wayne Woodruff.

He is survived by his son, James Eric Herston, parents, John R and Dorothy P. Herston, siblings, John Herston and wife, Allison, and Amanda Hickman and husband, David.

He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
