Rev. Ronnie Reese, 73, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at his home. He was a minister for 55 years and was a licensed minister with United Christian Church Ministerial Association.

Services were Monday, January 5, at CalvaryFamilyWorshipCenter with Bro. Curtis Reese officiating. Burial was in RedBay CityCemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Alline Reese of Red Bay; three children, Curtis Reese and wife, Jeanelle, of Dallas, Texas, Greg Reese of Richmond, Va., and Keith Reese of Red Bay; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Amber, Josh, Andrew, Shala, Whitney and Stephine; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Gloretta Halloway and Doris Tarkington; three brothers, Kenneth Reese, Billy Reese and Larry Reese; host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandson-Bryan Reese.

Pallbearers were Brandon Reese, Josh Reese, Andrew Reese, Andrew Miller and Nicki Hux.

Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 4, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay and was laid-in-state Monday at CalvaryFamilyWorshipCenter.
