Ruth Ford Stone, 84, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Brentwood Assisted Living in Muscle Shoals.

Mrs. Stone was a lifelong resident of FranklinCounty, a homemaker and a member of Isbell Church of Christ.

The funeral service was Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with George Hutto officiating. Burial was in FranklinMemoryGardens. The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday.

Survivors include husband, Weldon Stone; children, William L. Stone and wife, Sandra, and Alice DeFoor and husband, Steve; brother, Roy Grissom; sisters, Paulette Todd and Genell Hayes; grandchildren, Kevin Stone and wife, Tia, and Kyle DeFoor and wife, Melissa; great-grandchildren, Raney and Shaler Stone; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Kevin Stone, Kyle DeFoor, Michael Grissom, Tim Jackson, Raymond Horton and Martin Gault.

She was preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Clara Grissom; brothers, Howard and Spruell Grissom; and sister, Dorothy Jackson.

The family wishes to express special appreciation to the Brentwood Assisted Living staff and to Hospice of North Alabama.
