Alta Mae Grissom, age 91, Russellville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014.
The visitation was held from Dec. 9, 2014 at Akins Funeral Home; the 2 pm funeral service will be held at North Highlands Church Of Christ Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 with Bro. Charlie Britnell and Bro. Jack Henson officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers were Grandsons, Great Grandsons, and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Junior Grissom; son, Eddie Wayne Grissom; parents, Riley and Dessie Taylor; sisters, Venus Hester, Helen Mitchell.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Grissom Shoultes and husband Bruce, Velma Grissom Dickey and husband Paul; brothers, Thomas E. Taylor, Faris E. Taylor; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
