Mrs. Vergie Lee Sullivan Doss

Funeral Services for Mrs. Vergie Lee Sullivan Doss, of North Augusta, S.C., who entered into rest Nov. 16, 2014, will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 11:30 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Clifton Busler will be officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Mrs. Doss was a native of Lawrence County, Tenn., a former resident of Russellville, having made North Augusta her home for the past twelve years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Doss was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil D. Doss, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James Danny and Kim Doss, Mobile; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne Doss and John Wise, North Augusta, S.C.; a sister, Flora Dolan, Decatur; sister-in-law, Chloie Doss Southern and husband, Crant; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
