Bessie Hurst Searcy, 67, Phil Campbell, passed away on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.
The visitation was Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral was Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Ric Chambless and Bobby Bolton spoke at the service. Burial followed at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She is survived by her grandson, Aron Risley and wife, Amanda; great-grandson, Crimson Risley; sisters, Dorothy Simpson, Rachel Heathcoat, Mary Staggs; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Searcy; son, Lee Searcy, daughter, Maria Searcy Risley; mother, Martha Ocilee Bonner; and father, Michael Paul Hurst.
The pallbearers were Aron Risley, Shane Smith, and Dustin Mears.
