Brenda Scott Cobb, 58, formerly of Red Bay, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at her residence.

She was born in Waukegan, Ill. to Clarence Hubert and Margaret Louise Scott. She worked at Golden Manufacturing for many years.

Services were Monday, Oct. 6, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Bro. Derek Summeral and Bro. Eugene Digby officiating. Burial was in Berry Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Cobb of Kennedy; two daughters, Patricia McMinn Price of Nashville, Tenn., and Valarie McMinn Hale and husband, Josh, of Montgomery; mother, Margaret Scott of Red Bay; sister, Lorraine Crouch and husband, David, of Hartselle; brother, Dennis Scott and wife, Tammie, of Red Bay; half-brother, George Owens and wife, Terri, of Fayetteville, Tenn; six grandchildren, Jordan Bridges, Theoren Bridges, Abigail Price, Olivia Price, Kaetriyana Hale and Destiny Cobb; one great-grandson, Aiden Cox; step-son, Daniel Cobb and wife, Tiffany, of Kennedy; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Scott.

Pallbearers were Theoren Bridges, Josh Hale, David Crouch, Brandon Franks, Jason Cowart and Bob Buscherfield.

Visitation was Monday, Oct. 6, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
