Bernece Fuller James, 73, Russellville, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. James was a talented seamstress; making uniforms over the years for various groups, such as the color guard and cheerleaders, as well as sewing for her much loved family.  She previously worked for the S&H Green Stamp Store in Martin, Tenn., and later was the seamstress for Grissom’s Cleaners.

The visitation was Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral followed in the chapel with Rev. Roger Jones officiating.  Burial was at Duncan Creek Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Wade and husband, Glenn; son, Terry James and wife, Denise; grandchildren, Kimberly James, Nola Wells, April Wells; step-grandchildren, Kelly Turpin, Kathryn Roberts; step-great-grandchildren, Christopher Roberts, Nick South, Tory Turpin, Lanny Turpin; sister, Virginia Cook; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Bruce B. James; parents, Robert and Nola Fuller; and special brother, Larry Fuller.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Aaron Karr, Alacare Hospice, Jill Boatright, and Whitney Ceonnie for their special love and care of our mother.
