Maxzene Kimbrough Hester, 80, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.

Mrs. Hester was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a member of Waco Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher and choir member.  She was retired from Hester Printing and was a member of the Waco Homemakers’ Club.

The funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013,  at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating was Billy George.  The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013.

Survivors include husband, R.C. Hester; children, Sherrie Diana Holland and husband, Jay, and Robert Mack Hester and wife, Carol, all of Russellville; sister-in-law, Mary Kimbrough; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Benjamin “Mack” and Lassie Inez Floyd Kimbrough; brother, Jerry Don Kimbrough.
