Clifford G. Landers, 90, Denver, Penn., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Manor Care in Lebanon, Penn.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Akins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2013,  in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens with military honors.

He is survived by two sons, Eddie Landers and wife, Julie, of Denver, Penn., and Norville Landers and wife, Debby, of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Martha Landers, of Maryland, and Jeannie Mysliwczyk and husband, John, of Garfield Heights, Ohio; sister, Lenis Pitts, of Sulligent; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was born in Russellville to the late John M. and Deana Posey Landers and was the husband of the late Lonis Smith Landers.

In addition to his wife of 66 years and parents, he was preceded in death by son, Larry W. Landers; four brothers, Udell, Chester, Obie and Herman Landers; two sisters, Lois Rushing and Annie Rickard.

He had been a member of the Church of Christ in Russellville. He served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII veteran. During his working years, he worked as a crane operator for the Ford Motor Co. and he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.
