Annie Lucille Leathers, 89, died Friday, June 14, 2013 in Winfield.
She was born April 3, 1924 in Tishomingo County, Miss. and was the daughter of the late William Roland Flanagan and Mary Elizabeth Croslin Flanagan. She was formerly of Red Bay and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Winfield.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 18, at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay. Services were held Tuesday, June 18, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sammy Taylor officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Red Bay.

Survivors include her sons Marvin Lionel Leathers and wife, Nancy, of Winfield, Myron Lynn Leathers of Winfield, William Cecil Leathers of Poplarville, Miss., and Anthony Wade Leathers and wife, Cynthia, of Winfield; six grandchildren, Marvin Lionel Leathers, Jr. and wife, Sally, Murray Taylor Leathers and wife, Brittany, Justin Whitney Leathers and wife, Kathy, Morgan Lacey Leathers, Abigail Denise Leathers, and Anthony Wade Leathers, Jr.; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Junior Leathers, her daughter, Lucinda Leathers, her parents and thirteen brothers and sisters.
