Terry Ray “Papa 8“ Smith, 58, Russellville, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Helen Keller Hospital.

Funeral services were Monday, May 20, 2013, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, with Bro. Philip Kimbrough officiating. Interment was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tom Graham, Lanny Hargrove, James N. Odom, Brandon Wood, Ronald Odom, and Timmy Odom; honorary pallbearers were Rudy Dale Smith and Ricky Kimbrough.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Harold Smith; grandparents, Raymond and Mary Smith, Kitty Odom McCollum; nephew, John Wood.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Judy Suggs Smith; daughters, Jada Smith Lindsey and husband, Aaron Keith, Nesha Smith, and Kortnee Smith Loveless; mother, Imogene “Jean” Odom Smith; sister, Mary Leigh Wood and husband, Johnny; brother, Raymond Hugh Smith; three grandchildren that were his pride and joy, Peyton Loveless, Madlynne Loveless, Ryder Loveless; nephew, Brandon Wood; his dog, Booboo; numerous friends.

He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
