A Franklin County woman was killed in a Sunday afternoon wreck that also injured her husband and several others.
Officials said Kimberly Hines, 35, of Russellville, was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle accident that occurred on U.S. 43 and Franklin 60 near King Drive-In.
Officials said the wreck was reported at 3:08 p.m. Sunday. Kimberly Hines was the passenger in a Ford Explorer driven by her husband, James Eric Hines, 34, of Russellville.
Officials said James Hines was flown to Huntsville Hospital where he was listed in good condition Tuesday morning.
Officials said the Hines’ Ford Explorer collided with a minivan driven by 45-year-old Jacqueline Reid who had four other passengers in the van: Ricky Purser, 29; Jamie Reid, 15; D.J. Purser, 7; and Jacob Purser, 6.
Officials said all occupants of the minivan were treated and released at Russellville Hospital.
