James F. Rupley, Sr., 58, Phil Campbell, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at his residence.

The visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Officiating at the service will be Bro. Steve Larence. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery, Phil Campbell.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Rupley; son, Barry Rupley and wife, Crystal; daughter, Jennie Hyde; grandchildren, Tommy Rupley, Samantha Rupley, Justice Rupley, Sky Rupley, Abigail Thornton, Grace Thornton, Madison Hyde; three brothers, George Rupley, Jr., Carl Rupley, Tom Rupley; three sisters, Catherine Whorrel, Sandra Gail Rupley, Debra Chapman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Opal Rupley; sister, Cheryl Rupley, son, James Fred Rupley, Jr.; granddaughter, Madelyn Hyde.

The pallbearers will be Tom Rupley, George Rupley, Carl Rupley, Barry Rupley, Travis Welch, Tommy Rupley and Justice Rupley.
