Helen Louise Oravez Faiss, 89, Russellville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Franklin Memory Gardens, with Rev. George McGuire officiating. Entombment will be in the Franklin Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

She is preceded in death by parents, Anton and Helen Oravez; brother, Carl Oravez.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Hans Faiss; daughter, Linda Faiss Grissom; son, Gary Faiss and wife, Carol; brother, David Oravez; grandchildren, Emily Grissom Lawler and husband, Stephen, Clark Grissom and wife, Ashley; great grandchildren, Jack Lawler, Hallie Grissom.

She was a faithful member of Russellville First Presbyterian Church since 1958 where she had been active in the women of the church and was secretary of the church Memorial Fund.

The family respectfully requests no flowers; memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Russellville, 201 Green Avenue, Russellville, Al 35653.
