Dorothy Rae Davis Britnell, 77, Moulton, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Britnell was born Friday, May 17, 1935, to William Claude and Detta Rose Devaney Davis.

Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Dewayne Satterwhite. Burial was in Olen T. Green Cemetery, Newburg.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Meherg and husband, Tom, Moulton; sons, Bobby Britnell and wife, Sharon, Russellville, Anthony Britnell and wife, Sherry, Russellville; grandchildren, Jessy Meherg, David Meherg and wife, Erica, Tammie Bridgmon and husband, David, Renee Britnell, Toni Britnell, Charlie Britnell, William Smith, Jerry Smith and wife, Julie), Sarah Hollis and husband, Jamie; great-grandchildren, Danica Meherg, Eddley Meherg, Heather Bridgmon, Christian Bridgmon, Chyenne Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Gabriealle Hollis, Kane Hollis, James Ross Hollis; sister, Della Ruth McCarley and husband, Hubert; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Claude and Detta Rose Davis; husband, Tommy Albert Britnell; son, Tommy Ray Britnell; daughter, Rose Nell Smith; grandson, Tommy Melton Smith, Issac Smith; son-in-law, Jerry Melton Smith; brothers, William Grandville Davis, Roy Blanton Davis, Jack Linwood Davis, Walter Wilson Davis; sisters, Ruby Chadderdon, Lucille McNatt.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed reading and collecting cookbooks. She was loved and will be missed by all.
