William Howard Blackburn, 74, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at ECM Hospital.

He was born Feb. 11, 1938, in Franklin County and was a heavy equipment operator.

Graveside services were Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Halltown Cemetery, with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery.

Survivors are two daughters, Donna Blackburn, Tuscaloosa, and Tammy Blackburn, Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Ellouise Hellums, Vina, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curren Agusta Blackburn and Mildred Mitchell Blackburn, two sisters, Louise Frederick and her husband, Freddie, and Letha Hellums and her husband, Jack, and one brother, Roy Blackburn.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Hellums, Mike Hellums, Carl Blackburn, Dewayne Hellums, Troy Franklin and W.C. Sparks.
