James “Jim” Edward Dozard

James “Jim” Edward Dozard, 68, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Lumpkin officiating. Interment will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nigel Hubbard, Tom Paul, Kenneth Kimbrough, Greg McDaniel, Danny Raineri and Vince Reeder.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Marie Rogers Dozard; daughter, Rhonda Kospic; parents, Andrew and Evelyn Dozard; grandmother, Emma Hanelt.

He is survived by daughters; Robin Pinkston and Donald Wolfe, Regina and Justin Cummings, Rita and David Fox, Andrea and Oscar Welker; brother, Dan and Gail Dozard; sister, Linda Paul; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

He was a retired truck driver and had served in the US Navy.
