Idell “Patton” Daniel, 87, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at her residence after an extended illness.

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.  Funeral services will be Sunday, 2 p.m. in Pinkard Funeral Home chapel with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. Officiating will be Bro. Jeff Fleming and Bro. Dennis Steward.

Mrs. Daniel was born in Russellville. She was a homemaker and member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church of Russellville.

She was preceded in death by husband, Willie Ed Daniel; parents, Claude and Annie Patton; sisters, Edna Green, Ila Montgomery, Clara Upshaw; brothers, Curless, Clarence and Leon Patton; nephew, Jimmy Patton.

Survivors include, daughter, Carolyn Daniel, Muscle Shoals; son, James Daniel, Tuscumbia; grandson, Scott Daniel and wife, April, Muscle Shoals; two great-grandchildren, Lexie Daniel and Jacob Daniel, Muscle Shoals; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Daniel, Avery Daniel, Roger Daniel, Randy Byrd, Allen Daniel and Billy Willis.

Honorary bearers will be Nat Parker, Keith Cantrell, Ron Patton, Tom Pace, Burns Saint, Larry Peppers and Bruce Fortner.

The family expresses special thanks to Amy, Jessica, Katrinia, Rose, Debbie, Paula, Dr. Ronald McCoy and Dr. Jerry Williams for the care and attention during this time of need.

The family wishes to also express thanks to special neighbors Lucy Heidorn and Clift Hamilton for the prayers and food during this time of need.
