Willard Ervin Suggs, 69, Russellville, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Burns Nursing Home.
He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of West Highland Baptist Church.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Franklin Memory Gardens with military honors. Officiating at the service was Bro. Phillip Kimbrough.
He is survived by his son, Michael W. Suggs and wife, Deidre; daughter, Sherry Price; grandchildren, Latosha Thornton and husband, Danny, Nicholas Suggs, Tristan Phillips, Chase Noah, Presley Price, Callie Price; two great-grandchildren; brother, Billy J. Suggs and wife, Judy; sister, Mae Lynn Cantrell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Ervin Suggs; and mother, Mattie Bell Kimbrough Suggs.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Burns Nursing Home for the love and care shown to Mr. Suggs.
