Gene O’Neal Miller, 74, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Generations of Red Bay.
He was a native of Alabama and a logger.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial was in Old Burleson Cemetery, Al.
Survivors are four children; Dawn Wooten and husband, Steven, of Dennis, Miss., Joan Miller and Jerome Pounders, of Golden, Miss., Sabrina Miller and fiance’, Austin Young, of Tuscaloosa, and Brandon Miller, of Russellville; five grandchildren, Chad Pounders, Lawson Pounders, Shiann Wooten, Dakota Wooten and Serenity Miller and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Nona Childers Miller and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Steven Wooten, Austin Young, Jerome Pounders, Corey Massey, Jamie Miller and Nicky Miller.
