Billie G. Ray, 77, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center.

He was a native of Mississippi, a car salesman and was retired from Solo Cup Co. He attended Pineville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of U.S. Army.

Funeral services were Monday, March 19, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, with Bro. J.C. Blackburn officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are two children, Rick Ray, of Beach Park, Ill., and Tiffany Ray, of Florence; six grandchildren, John Booth, Tina Booth, Rick Ray, Stacy Ray-Duty, Deanna Ray and Randy Ray and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Ray Sliva, two sons, Billie Ray Jr. and Frank Ray, his parents, Selmer and Coster Hall Ray and an infant brother.

Pallbearers were Rick Ray, Rick Ray Jr., John Booth, David Woods and Bill James.
