Bobby Gene Fretwell, 71, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at his residence.

He operated the Fretwell Radiator & Muffler Shop of Russellville.

Funeral services were Friday, March 9, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Chad Beck officiating.  Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Lowery Fretwell; daughter, Lisa Fretwell Malone and husband, Tim; son, Danny Fretwell and wife, Lillya; grandchildren, Brooks Clark, Danielle Clark, Kahlib Fretwell and Mylee Fretwell; step-grandchildren, Heath Malone, Emily Malone; siblings, Ray Fretwell and wife, Betty, Benny Fretwell and wife, Kathie, Gladys Curnutt, Charles Fretwell, Gary Fretwell and wife, Brenda, Denise Pounders, Randy Fretwell, Ronald Fretwell and wife, Renee, John Fretwell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lassie Fretwell; sister, Shirley Canup, and brother, Larry Fretwell.

Pallbearers were Greg Sparks, Randy Hallman, Bryce McNatt, Robbie Curnutt, Shane Holcomb and Chris Fretwell.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and our nurse, Deena Noah, for the love and care shown towards our family.
