William Audrey Champion, 83, Russellville, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Glenwood Rehabilitation, Florence.
He lived most of his life in Franklin County and was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ. He was a retired vocational teacher from the Russellville City Schools.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Keith Barnett and James Phillips officiating. Burial will be in East Franklin Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Tressie Mae Champion, Russellville; children, Sheila Marlene Champion, Pulaski, Tenn., Michael Brent Champion and wife, Alisa, Montgomery, Keith Randall Champion, Madison; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Thorne, Tony Champion, Barry Jones, Ken Porter, Stanley Champion, Ricky Harris, Benjamin Phillips and Robin Phillips.
He was preceded in death by parents, William Robert and Gertrude Champion; sisters, Gertha Yocum, Lorene Harris, Willodean “Toots” Jones, Geneva Harris; brother, Arvil Champion.
