Verlie Marceil Waldrep, 83, Russellville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at ECM Hospital.
Mrs. Waldrep was born Friday, Nov. 26, 1928, a native of Franklin County. She retired from H.D. Lee Company.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Stanley Hargett. Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arie Moman Murray and Vina Ann Kimbrough Murray; brothers, Wayne Murray, Harlie Murray, Johnie Murray; sisters, Reba Montgomery, Methel Dorsett, Leona Carlisle, Mavis Vandiver; and three infant siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Leeth and husband Vann, Birmingham; sons, Randy Waldrep and wife Rhonda, Russellville, Larry Waldrep and wife Sherrol, Killen; two grandchildren, Alicia, Kevin; step-grandson, Hunter; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a loving mother who will live forever in our hearts.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful and caring staff and doctors in the CTRU at ECM Hospital for their outstanding love and care of our precious mother.
