Community education hosts computer classes

Franklin County Community Education will hold the following computer classes at the Red Bay High School Library every Tuesday night in February, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Cost of the class is $30 per person.

• Starting the computer
• Using the mouse
• Desktop icons
• Printing
Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012  –  Computer Creating Skills
• Creating folders
• Creating files
• Creating shortcuts on the desktop
Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012  –  Basic Internet Skills
• Internet Explorer
• Search engines
• Social networking
• Email
Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012  –  Computer Hardware
• Using a flash drive
• Basic computer clean-up
• Computer hardware components
• Transferring pictures, music, and files to a flash drive
