Jimmie Ray Watson, Sr., 56, of Florence, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 5, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Burial was at Shady Grove Cemetery, Phil Campbell.
He is survived by wife, Patsy Watson, of Cherokee; sons, Thomas Watson, of Cherokee, Jimmie Watson, Jr., of Russellville; daughter, Angela Terry, of Tuscumbia; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Janie Rollins, Iva Dean Raper; brothers, James Watson, Ronald Watson, Hugh Don Watson, Terry Wayne Watson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Edith Watson.
