Marvin Loyd Ozbirn, 62, of Vina, Ala. passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 in Franklin County, Ala.
He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a member of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. Steve Lindsay and Bro. David Corum officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery, Atwood, Ala.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Ozbirn, of Vina; two daughters, Lori Dill and husband, Barry, of Russellville, Ala. and Heather Patrick and husband, Greg, of Tuscumbia, Ala.; four grandchildren, John Patrick, Gavin Loague, Anna Lise Patrick and Evie Patrick; two brothers, Larry Ozbirn and wife, Diane, and Lowell Ozbirn and wife, Sarah.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Ozbirn; his mother, Marjorie Williams; and sister, Brenda Ozbirn.
Pallbearers were Casey Epperson, Dylan Epperson, Mike Askew, Scott Ozbirn, Jason Ozbirn and Dwight Hill.
