Linda Beck, 64 of Haleyville, Ala. passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 at her home.  She was a Baptist and had worked for the Haleyville Police Dept. as a patrolman and later worked as a dispatcher for Winston County 911.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with J.D. Snoddy officiating.  Burial was in Ephesus Cemetery in the Pebble Community.

She is survived by her mother, Katherine Gravitt; children, Keith Steele, Tony Steele and wife, Misty, and Kimberly Sue Kinchn; step-children, Jonathon and Josh Beck; sisters, Betty Nicholson and Shelia Richie; brother, Billy Gravitt; ten grandchildren; two step-children; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by father, J.Q. Gravitt; brother, Bobby Gravitt; sister, Mary Garrison; son, Tim Steele; and husband, Billy Beck.
