J.R. Bendall, 83, of Russellville, Ala. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Lennox officiating. The interment was at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Callie Bendall; and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Diana McCormack Bendall; children, Berenda Willis, James Robinson Bendall, Jr., Chris Bendall, Kerry Bendall; step-daughter, Tracie Liles; brother, Wayne Bendall; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Faith Outreach Mission, Russellville, Ala.

Special thanks to all the nurses at Russellville Hospital, Dr. Decker, Dr. Osman for their care, and Hospice Complete.
