On the boys side, the 8-and-under FCYBO team defeated Russellville to win the district title. Both squads will play in the state tourney.
Before the teams pack their bags to head to Gadsden, they will play in a tune-up tournament in Belgreen this weekend.
All-Star teams from FCYBO, Russellville, Haleyville, Winfield, Deshler, Colbert Heights and Belmont, Miss. will compete in the tournament.
Games begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be played in both gyms at Belgreen High School. Admission is $2 for an all-day pass.
