City court to change bill pay plan

The Russellville City Council voted Monday to rescind an action taken at their last meeting that would have established a contract with a company that handles credit card processing for the municipal court system.
Municipal Court Clerk LaDonna Hitt recommended that the city not enter into a contract with CitePay, but rather use InCourt for internet payment services.
Hitt told council members that InCourt was the original company that she wanted to use, but had not worked out a few snags until just after the previous council meeting.
