Lady Tigers knock off Sulligent

The Red Bay varsity girls basketball team is making another trip to the Northwest Regional Tournament thanks to Thursday's 45-32 win at Sulligent.
The Lady Tigers opened the game with a 7-0 run and never trailed.
Sulligent cut the deficit to three points at halftime, but Red Bed Bay score 31 second-half points to pull away and secure the win.
Whitney Sharp scored a game-high 19 points for Red Bay.
Also scoring for the Lady Tigers were Morgan McKinney (8), Hannah Sharp (7), Jade Ezzell (5), Caitlin Childers (4) and Taylor Hester (2).
With the win the Lady Tigers improve to 14-14 overall. They will play No.-2 ranked Clements 6 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace State in Hanceville.
