Top RES fundraising students rewarded

Twenty-five students from Russellville Elementary School were treated to a limo ride and lunch at Pizza Hut Friday as a reward for doing well in the school's recent fundraiser.
Principal Kristie Ezzell said the top 25 sellers in the QSP fundraiser were treated to a ride to and from their Pizza Hut lunch in a limo.
"QSP paid for the limo and the meal so the prizes did not come out of the money raised," she said.
The top three sellers were given other prizes in addition to the lunch and limo ride. First place winner Hanna Malone was presented with a PSP; second place winner Ethan Brewer received an iPod; and third place winner Michael Howell was presented with a $25 gift card from Wal-Mart.
Ezzell said the fundraiser was successful for the school because of the great incentive prizes from QSP.
"The school made enough money to get a larger playground that we originally decided on," Ezzell said. "We are going to have a nice playground."
The playground has been ordered already and is expected to be delivered within the coming weeks.
The students who were awarded the limo ride and pizza lunch also included Madison Hargett, Rebecca Parrish, Brittany Stalker, Evan Green, Noah Gist, Danny Borden, Ashton Moore, Maleia Gist, Alexis Summerhill, Aleshia Phillips, Ashely Morgan, Andrew Heath, Katie Cole, Hunter James, Hannah Grace Thomason, Mercedes South, Chase Taylor, Brooke Presley, Ryan Askew, Sara Warner and Sara-Rachel Stevens.
The limo services were provided by Unique Limo of Muscle Shoals.
