Ron E. Underwood, 70, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at his residence.
Ron was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Russellville. He was the previous owner of the radio stations, WKAX and WGOL in Russellville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jeff Fleming officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Underwood; two sons, Tim Underwood, Rick Underwood; three daughters, Debbie Clement, Kim Thornton and Misty Burdette; one step-daughter, Rene McCurry; brother, David (Charlotte) Underwood; half-sister, Unice Calsor; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Vaughn, Tim Smith, Bruce Fortner, Jerry McDuffa, Steve Defoor, Tommy Allen, Bob Maggerise and Jackie McDuffa.
The family would like to say a very special thanks to Keller Hospice, Jeanne Maggerise, Sarah Peppers and Amy Williams. Memorial donations may be made to Keller Hospice at Keller Community Hospice, P.O. Box 490, Red Bay, AL 35582.
Hazel Corine Oliver

Hazel Corine Oliver, of Belgreen, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Belgreen Community Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dewayne Oliver and one grandson, Johnny Oliver.
She is survived by her husband, Travis Oliver; sons, Tommy Oliver (Kay), of Tuscumbia, Mitchell Oliver (Denise), of Belgreen, Steve Oliver (Sandy), of Frankfort; daughters, Linda Welch (Charles), of Belgreen, Sheila Rogers (Cecil), of Hamilton; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, send donations to Belgreen Community Cemetery.
David Isaac Stidham

David Isaac Stidham, two months, of Vina, died June 20, 2008, at his residence.
He was born April 19, 2008, in Russellville. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David L. Credille.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Deaton Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Swimmer officiating. Burial was in Atwood Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Billy and Angie Stidham, of Vina; one brother, Nathaniel Stidham; grandparents, L.C. and Virginia Stidham; grandmother, Joyce Allen; grandfather, Ricky Allen; grandmother, Stacy Allen; three aunts, three uncles and three cousins.
