Janice Carol Dodd, 66, of Bear Creek, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Andy Kizer officiating the service. Burial followed at the Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Dodd is survived by her husband, Buddy Dodd; sons, Barry Dodd and Brian (Jennifer) Dodd; and sisters, Violet Wilson, Dorothy Liverett, and Marie Hood.
Ms. Dodd was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jennifer Huges; and brother, Derwood Hughes.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Haleyville assisted the family.
Lucille Fuller

Lucille Kimbrough Fuller, 79, of Russellville, died Friday Feb., 29, 2008, at Russellville Health Care.
She lived in Russellville for most of her life and was a member of First Baptist Church in Russellville.
Graveside services were held Sunday, March 2, 2008, at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville with Richard Parker officiating.
Ms. Fuller is survived by sisters, Tommie Staples, of Russellville, and Panny Parker, of Muscle Shoals.
Ms. Fuller was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Fuller, Jr., and her parents, James Tommy Kimbrough and Sally Byars Kimbrough

Gerry Bratcher

Gerry Bratcher, 62 of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, March 2, 2008.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bobby Martin officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service included Thomas Kilpatrick, Larry Duvall, James Riggs, Rock Cole, and Rikey Murry. Honorary pallbearer will be Cody Hampton.
Mr. Bratcher was preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha Duvall Bratcher; son, Jerry Bratcher; and brother, James Elvin Bratcher.
Mr. Bratcher is survived by his wife, Arnell Bratcher; daughters, Shirley Herrero and Sandy Sanderson and husband, Michael; son, James Bratcher and wife, Arnell Bratcher; daughters, Shirley Herrero and Sandy Sanderson and husband, Michael; son, James Bratcher and wife, Regina; sisters, Margie Wright and Cathy Riggs; brothers, William Bratcher and Ralph Bratcher; six grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
Angela Grubbs

Angela Darlene Lynn Grubbs, 65 of Haleyville, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at St. Vincent's Hospital East in Birmingham. She was born in Kentucky on April 20, 1942. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Haleyville.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glenn Bridgemon officiating. Burial was in the Frost Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Grubbs is survived by her children, Debbie Grubbs, Peggy Lee, and Cynthia Kelley; grandchildren, Josh Sanders, Whitney Sanders, Avery Pike, Amy Hogan, and Kevin Lee; and great-grandchild, Evan Hogan.
Ms. Grubbs was preceded in death by husband, James Grubbs, Jr.; father, Cyrus Lynn; and mother, Eunice Gatt.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Haleyville assisted the family.
Charlie Burnett
February 29, 2008
Charlie Wayne Burnett, Sr., 54 of Double Springs, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 3, 2008 at Old Macedonia Independent Church with Alvis Treece officiating the service.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Burnett is survived by his mother, Maudine Feltman Adair; children, Brian Burnett, Roxanne Lyons, and J.R. Burnetter; brothers, Wayne Burnett, Raymond Burnett, Danny Burnett, and Don Adair; sister, Gail Hood; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Burnett was preceded in death by his father, Dolphus Lee "Pete" Burnett, and sister, Kathy Burnett Hamby.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Haleyville assisted the family.
