Eric Glasgow scored 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds on Thursday to lead Phil Campbell to a 56-46 victory over Curry on the final day of action at the Winfield Christmas Invitational.
Matthew Thomas added 13 points for the Bobcats (7-6), who finished 1-2 in the tournament.
The game was tied 27-27 at halftime before Phil Campbell held Curry without a field goal in the third quarter, out-scoring the Yellow Jackets 11-1 to take control.
"The third quarter was the turning point, no question," Kiser said. "We changed up our defense a little. We had been using a half-court trap, but in the third quarter we just stayed back in a 1-3-1. We tried to contest shots, but we didn't trap out of it. I think that may have confused them a little bit."
Griffin Harris added eight points for the Bobcats.
Joe Humphries led Curry with 10 points.
Phil Campbell's game with Winfield on Friday has been cancelled. The Bobcats will play at Hamilton on Saturday before getting ready for next week's Franklin County Tournament.
